dog names

Does anyone have a good one.
I do not have a dog, but I believe one should be prepared.
Right? Makes total sense.

I like the classics... have always thought Rembrandt or Shakespeare would be a good name for a big ol' woolly beast.

Remember animals adapt best to names with 2 syllables. They pick up on the intonation and recognize their name better.

Marshmallow (for a white dog).

At first I was going to suggest Maddie but then I realized that is too close to your daughter's name!

Names we considered (but didn't choose) for my first dog were Parker, Scooter, and Sparky.

We have Luke (named by someone else when we got him), Belle, Cocoa and Scout.

I like Martin for male, Lucy for female and Sandy- which can really go either way.

I once was very friendly with a golden retriever whose name was Tanner then he got a brother, Tucker. Both great dog names!

oh oh oh! And when I was little I was obsessed with McGuyver (sp?) and I named our first and only dog Murdoch.
