Today my oldest went on a field trip to a farm. She took a bus, and felt very grown up.

Today I got a note from More Magazine.. telling me to call them.

Today I painted with sidewalk chalk with my youngest.

Today I spent some time sourcing Spring 2008 fabric.

Today I organized my school work b/c final grades are due in one week.

Today I did 3 loads of laundry.

Today one of my students made me laugh out loud. Really loud.

Today I figured out how to get a New York Sales Tax Certificate.

Today, I had a new idea about where my new collections would take me.

Today I wrote some down some new ideas for a design curriculum.

Today was a good day. :-)

I started my day with coffee with some friends. Volunteering in my oldest classroom. Then I was home alone for a half hour by myself..didn't know what to do with myself. So I just relished in the quiet! I was a good day here, too!

i had a good day. up to my elbows in the "small kid" routine. didn't bathe until 5pm and only because i had 6:30pm choir practice at church. my son is in the throws of potting training.....and all that entails. my daughter has been taking more and more steps. i think she is up to 8!

Today I read a book called Mom There's A Man in the Kitchen And He's Wearing Your Robe, The Single Mother's Guide to Dating Well. When I got to the part where the author contends that "it's not a contradiction in terms to be both a feminist and a lady" I trashed it, feeling followers of the author's advice would soon be divorced again.

I had a good day. I spent 3 hours at Michael's and Toys R Us looking for the perfect doll head for a commercial we're shooting. (Conclusion: Polly Pocket.) Then went out for a lovely indian buffet - ate too much but it was so good). After work, I picked up mommy from her 2nd chemo and she felt very good and happy. Then I came home and relaxed. And, I just finished eating a popsicle!
