Um.. Mrs. Mull

.."Hi.. this is the nurse calling from ..... Madison's has a tempature of 102* She is in the nurse's office. Is it ok.. if we give her some motrin."

...

Back to the doctor's... poor thing. She is taking a pounding these last few days (read week). First day back was Thursday.. told them to call me if anything seemed in the slightest off. But the report was great on Thrusday when I picked her up from school. Ran, I tell you, all over the playground..

We did the dreaded prick the finger routine at the doctor's office.. white cells are now lower ( a little) than a few days ago. She tested negative for the flu. But the nurse seems to think it is the flu. Does the flu make you loose the ability to walk? :-0

...

On a more interesting note.. some may have seen the headbands in Southern Living (Carolina Section). I thought they wrote up a little whitty blurb to.. about "Prep"ing your hair.

...

I also received this email for a "press kit" to be sent out today (for an un-named TV gig..).. Should have had my ducks all lined up for this.. but alas.. between:

1. 2 little girls and husband

2. carpool (a job in itself.. seeing how they are at two different locations with different start and end times...

3. teaching, planning, grading, conferences....

4. company

5. maid, cook (not really)

6. web designer, book keeper, photographer blah blah blah

yup.. let it slip through the cracks... so this weekend I am going to figure this one out for sure.. try to anyway. oh how i jump through hoops for the slightest chance..

man oh man

...

ps.. did i tell you my husband got really sick on wed night? packed the kids up and slept over my mother in laws house. left the germs for the night. came home the next afternoon and put the gloves on.. opened the widows (it was 70 degrees here yesterday), and litterally overhauled this house. Top to stiking bottom.. if you can find a germ here.. well.. you would be really looking for one.

Your poor little girl. At our school, the nurse couldn't give the kids any medicine, even with parent's permission. The parent has to come to the school to do it. There is something that is going around here that is very similar to the flu, but is viral, therefore it doesn't show up on flu tests. I don't know anything about the walking part, but I do know they say it is awful.I'm not so sure I don't/didn't have a bit of that too! I felt awful. I will keep your kiddo in my prayers.

Gosh, you poor things, all of you are getting sick! February is a really tough month for this kind of thing I find - all of us had the flu during the half term holiday.

Hope everyone gets much better really soon.

The no-walking thing is really scary, but from reading the comments of others, this is more common than we think...? I hope your little girl feels better soon.
