Super Star

So it has been my oldest's daughter's "Super Star" week at school. We decorated a bulletin board of pictures of her through out the years..in the classroom. We filled out a few pages of questions about her to be shared with the class. We snapped a few polaroids for the classroom "scrapbook" with the special teddy bear that gets to go home with her all week. We made special crafts that get to be displayed in the classroom on different days.

Tired yet?

So on Monday my youngest and I went and ate lunch with her. On Tuesday, her Nana and Papa surprised her for lunch. On Wednesday we brought over cupcakes and juice and her Auntie's little dog. And today..My husband and I are going over to make a big deal over her at the end of class..where we talk about her..and share the answers of the questions we filled out earlier this week.

All in all..it has been really fun. She is running around the house right now trying to figure out what she should bring for "Show and Tell". I think she has settled on a ring...of all things...but that is a 5 year old for you I guess.

Off to run carpool again an hour later.

Down to a fabric store at a last ditch effort to find some reasonable suede..(this is not your average fabric store...it is a warehouse..)

Carpool again at 1:00
then
Super star at 1:45
