Reading List

So one of my New Year's resolutions this year was to stay out of Target and the other one was to read more. Since January I have read approx. 15 books...and counting.

On the way to Vegas two weekends ago I bought 2 books:

1. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
2. Trading Up by Candace Bushnell (of Sex in the City)

I finished Memoirs of a Geisha on the plane and I am still on Trading Up.

I really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha..for anyone who has not read it it is really great...and Trading Up is very much like Sex in the City..with a focus on the New York rich and famous...

Would love suggestions of other great books..if anyone has one..

Hi Jen,

I have been enjoying your blog for about a month now on recommendation from Elizabeth at PC and SC. I'm glad to see you have the comments section opened.

For good reads, have you tried any of Sophie Kinsella's books? I particularly enjoyed The Undomestic Goddess and Can you Keep a Secret. Both are light and fun.

Sorry about that last deleted post. I messed up a link!

I like to bounce around the blogs elizabeth rec'd. from preppy cafe..and i talked about lisagh when i bought my bonanno sandals last week... the small world of PC readers.

as for books, i don't remember the authors. (i also hate capitalizing when i don't have to, sorry) if you like trading up type books, try the nanny diaries (they are making it into a movie right now), teh devil wears prada, jemima j...and the author of jemima j has some other good ones too. on a more serious note, i really enjoyed the secret life of bees and the lovely bones. i've also heard the secret lives of fortunate wives is another fun one. hope that helps!
