Christmas Program

My oldest is in a Christmas "program" tomorrow. More of a musical production. She is excited about it and has been singing her songs here at home for weeks.

I have to get her "outfit" together here tonight. The school wants a white top and red bottoms or black bottoms.. actually some combination of those three colors.. No jeans or tennis shoes... should be easy.. just need to iron it.

---

Speaking of ironing. I do this every night. Some of my friends give me funny looks when I tell them that I iron. Do you all iron?

---

Grey's Anatomy is on here in a minute.. so cutting it short here tonight.

I do iron because I can't stand the look of wrinkly clothes. But I'll admit that sometimes, when I'm in a rush, I'll just bring a shirt in the shower with me and smooth out the wrinkles with the steam and my wet hands. My BF puts his shirts between his mattress and box spring the night before he has to wear them. Apparently that passes for ironing in his world!

I do lots of daydreaming when I iron. It's the perfect mindless chore. Much less strenuous than those other awful household chores!

Unfortunately, Grey's Anatomy is a repeat tonight. I don't iron nearly as much as I used to!! If I can get away with not ironing something, I am happy! :)

I HATE ironing. However I do it when necessary, like when I leave laundry in the dryer for two days, which unforunately happens much more often than it should!

I don't iron for the most part. Sadly, we send quite a few things to the cleaners.

The ironing board is a constant fixture in my house. It could pass for a piece of furniture.
